Blue Heron on Green Lake

This is one of those missed photo opportunity if I wasn't in a wheelchair I'd kick myself.  The background is so blown out, but notice the fishermen and how close they are standing to the blue heron.  I would have gotten the perfect picture but two noisy crows scared it into a tree.

358 bus stop at Aurora and 85th

Two drunkards at a bus stop
two toothless twits begging for change
They must of had money once because they managed
to buy a twelve pack of beer

Anaconda

Me and a Anaconda

I held a Anaconda or maybe it held me.  She climbed up one sleeve and out the other.  Today was a chilly day and the snake got cold so it crawled into my shirt and slithered around to my back.  I left her there for a half hour nap.  Its skin is so smooth and soft.  I wasn't scared at all when it slid over my boob or when I felt its tongue on my neck.

Mt Rainier from the Bainbridge Ferry

Mt. Rainier glowing from behind West Seattle

The news yesterday was so shocking,  6 People dead from one shooter.  I lived in that neighborhood years ago. I went to that coffee shop a few times.  I want to know if he knew any of the people he shot, why that coffees shop and not a busier Starbucks a few blocks away?  The shooter's brother said he wasn't surprised this happened.  The brother said he was really angry about something.  What the hell can you be so angry about that you could shoot 5 people and then yourself?  We all do stuff when we are angry, I deep clean my apartment or break glass to relive stress,  I couldn't shoot people.  How do you get rid of your anger/stress?

My Sunday

It started out with good coffee at Essential Bakery near Gasworks Park
Go there for the best bakery food ever, Hell just go for the smell

Then we left the bakery and passed by a Henry mural

And finally I went to Gasworks to watch the sailboats

Good bye Tim

The other day I was out on my porch tending my flowers, my neighbor who lives in the apartment above me came out and said hi.  I didn't know him well but when ever I passed by him in the neighborhood I always strike a conversation with him.  He is 39 and lives with his mother.  Tim takes care of disabled mother.  He is a really sweet guy always asking me if I need any help he's available, he even gave me his cell phone number if I had an emergency.
Yesterday I was in the library looking for something to read, when a neighbor who I hadn't seen in quite some time asked me if I knew Tim was dead.  I said you have to be making that up I just saw him two days ago.  It's true, he's dead.  His mother found him but it was too late to help him.  I don't know exactly how he passed and I'm not sure what is mother is going to do now that he's gone.  Life just comes and goes so fast, its scary.  I will miss him.

Bus Stop words of wisdom

Gandhi I believe said this.

One day a mother went to Gandhi and said her child eats too much sugar, how can I make him stop?  Gandhi told the mother to come back in two weeks and he will tell her.  Confused, the mother went away and then came back two weeks later.  "Why did you send me away for two weeks?", the mother asked.  Gandhi replied, "I needed to stop eating too much sugar myself first before I could give you any advice."
