Christmas in Seattle

Nothing says Christmas more than carolers,
They were on the news so that could mean I was on the news
because I passed in front of the news cameras.

It must suck being Santa so many sick, wet diapered children
with sticky candy canes setting in your lap.
This is a Macy's store front window

Luke I am Santa!
For a dollar you too can be a Christmas Storm Trooper.

Boy and his Pig

Most kids sit on the pig and get their photo taken, this child wanted to hug the pig instead.  I took his photo then went then went off to photograph another pig, ten minutes later I came back to find he is still hugging the pig. So cute!!  I never really liked children but the older I get the more I can tolerate them.  I don't think God gave me a biological clock. If it was going to tick, wouldn't I have heard it by now?

Camel Fart

I was at Swanson's last weekend looking at Curly the Camel.  As I was looking at it, a big stink wafted up my nose.  I thought maybe I had shit myself, it smelled that bad.  I was about to go and check my underwear when my friend Donna said. "don't bother that's camel fart."  Somebody give that beast some Beano.

Am I in Seattle?

 Am I cute?
Looks like my niece Skyler dancing with a bumbershoot!

Am I an Idiot?
I see hands up don't shoot on building everywhere.

Am I white?  So not Likely!
This is one of the protestors who ended up doing a die-in on the
Westlake Mall floor.  This forced stores to close 2 hours early. Tell me
What did that accomplish?  It disrupted a peaceful lighting of the tree ceremony.

A Pike Place Christmas

The mini trees are at the ready waiting to be lit up on the 29th

Chestnuts are available at the fruit stands.
Remember when roasting chestnuts always put an X
cut in them, or they will become projectiles in your oven.

Not sure what holiday this one is celebrating.

Lighting of the Pike Place Tree

The annual lighting of the Pike Place tree is happening on November 29th.
Yesterday they stared with the lights.

The tree lights up at 5pm.
Until then there is food to sample
cookies to decorate and Santa take to pictures of.

The flowers ladies will soon be making holiday wreaths.

Pike Place Chalk of Love

There a garden behind Market Spice shop.
There's a Pig and many doors covered with chalk board paint.
Every once in awhile someone does something worth photographing.
Yesterday someone professed their love for this beautiful city,
I love this place too!

Post Alley Stop Being Awesome

I search Post Alley three times a week and every time
I search it I find a new gem.  This one says Stop being Awesome and its drawn
over a purple smiling face.  If this is your art work, its brilliant.

In Jail in Post Alley

I suspect the artists intention was to make it look like this person is in jail.   Not to sound racist, but I think the man in jail is black.  The reason I think that he is because below the picture was a sticker that said stop police abuse.  A large number of black people have the complaint they've been abused and their civil liberties have been violated especially in the Central District of Seattle.

Put Gum on Window Please

Seattle's Gum Wall
I'm sure the sign says, "NO".
I go to Post Alley every day hoping for some new message,
an ironic sign or an effigy to the Juicy Fruit Gods.  I have yet to
leave my DNA.
