Gardening

Its magic planting a seed and watching it grow!

I planted this columbine three years ago and finally this year I finally got to see it bloom.  I Think I have a curse on me, every time I plant flowers I go to the hospital just as they start blooming.

Japanese Garden
Started in 1937 and finally finished in 1960, the Japanese Gardens is located in the UW Arboretum.  Four acres of fish ponds, bridges and native Japanese plants.  It is so worth the 6 dollar entrance fee.
