Seen on 1st and Madisson in Seattle

MMMMMMMMM..... Fat and Juicy

I was strolling by a shop window on First when I saw this.  I would want one of those if I have to eat hospital food again.

Seattle Fisherman's Terminal

Rope and Chain

A rose on a granite wall in memory of a lost fisherman.

Tattered flags on a ship in port at the terminal.

He caught the big one.

When I was in the hospital I got addicted to the show Deadliest Catch on The Discovery Channel.   Their ships dock in Seattle on their off season.  I can't imagine freezing my fool ass off for 12 to 16 hours a day hauling in crab.  So many dangers to watch out for like falling overboard or get hit by by crab pots.  Click this to see the show dsc.discovery.com/tv/deadliest-catch .

Animals in North Seattle

Lucy on bus 358,

metal rabbits in a wooden hutch

And a salmon swimming up steam.

My theme of the day is animals in North Seattle.  My favorite sighting was the metal rabbits in a wooden hutch at Sky Nursery.  I thought it clever to put them together like a family.  If I had the money and a house, I'd buy them all for my back yard.

These people I saw in an area near the Space Needle.  I love Belltown, there is so much to photograph.

Lake Forrest Park

Third Place Books food court

My new favorite book store, Third Place Books in Lake Forrest Park.  It has new and used books, and they will buy your books too.  I like the place because it has wide aisles comfortable seating and a large selection.

Pissing down rain, all day, every day, enough water to drive a person insane.  We had a 2 hour sun break yesterday before it started pissing down rain again.

Seattle Center

Turtles at the Science Center

In the Butterfly House

Reflection of the Needle on the EMP

I had a wonderful day at the Seattle Center with my close friend Donna. We spent hours in the Butterfly House.  Then we saw a movie called Tornado Alley.  I was not impressed, I've seen better documentaries on television.  We had lunch in the Center House.  The Center House is being gutted and updated so half the restaurants are closed.  We liked the Butterfly House so much we went in there twice.  Then we had a wild ride home on Metro's Access.
