I was up early this morning

and had a good stretch.

On my way back from the market it started to snow.

First day of spring

Yesterday was the first day of spring, still felt like winter to me.

It was blowing hard yesterday almost made me regret going out.

Looks like a fish tail with maple leaves cut out of it,

the artist calls it a tree to the homeless.

They were lined up like vultures on a telephone wire.

There is nothing dainty about seagulls.

It was recently Rachel's birthday.  Rachel is a real piggy bank and donations help people in the market.  About 25,000 dollars is raised every year.

Just being sad.  I didn't realize how few pictures I had of my mom.  My sister Kristie is putting together a slide show for the funereal.  On the night before she died she said she didn't want to go to sleep because she was afraid she might not wake up.  Its like she knew she was going.  They spent the night watching the movie Ghost.

She passed away at 11:15 on the 27th of February.  She died in her sleep, thankfully with a friend at her side.  I still feel like she is a phone call away.  I wanted to call her phone number just to hear her voice on the answering machine.  I haven't taken her name off my phone.
