kerry Park

More people take pictures from Kerry Park than anywhere else in Seattle.  Kerry Park is on Queen Anne hill, and found on Highland Dr.  You can see Elliot Bay, the Seattle Center and the downtown sky scrapers.  I find it more picturesque when there are interesting cloud formations behind the Space Needle.

I'm here at Harborview hospital, I will be for awhile.  On Monday I had flap surgery on my butt.  They closed the hole and it looks really good.  I'm happy they cut on the same scar line so no new scars on my butt.  I was worried I was going to look like Frankenstein's daughter if I got any new scars.

Creative Homeless People

Homeless people have the funniest signs n downtown.  He didn't want me to photograph him. I couldn't get him to look my direction and that makes the photo less than perfect.  I should of given him a buck, then maybe I could have gotten a smile.  This photo was taken last year in Westlake Park.

My butt will be fixed!

On Monday August 29th I will have another operation to try and fix the hole in my butt.  For a year I've been living with this problem.  It is a deep hole about 7cm, for awhile it went all the way to the bone. That sounds gross to have ones bone exposed.  I hope soon not to have any more infections.  I need a life!

Chalk Board at Hempfest

There were these chalk boards at Hempfest near the Hemmposium for people to leave messages on.  I especially liked this board with the sun.   The fest was three days, this year and it was the 20th anniversary.   Mr. Mcpeak the founder of Hempfest said this years festival cost over 400,000 dollars to run  He said the city stuck on allot of new permits which made the fest that much more to put on.  I guess someone has to pay for all the extra police and medics.

Hempdog

I went, I saw, I had a great time!  More people than I remember in previous years.  I listened to Rick Steves speech, it was inspiring. He said it should be his civil right to smoke a joint after work.   I had some great food, heard great music on the Main Stage and got a free t-shirt.

Isn't this the cutest dog ever.

Tomorrow I'm going to the fest!

Please tell me if you went you donated.  Hempfest is quite expensive to put on.  The more donation they get the better show they can put on.  And if you have the time volunteer, you get a cool t-shirt if you do.  I have 4 t-shirts just for doing the photography.

Hempfest in Seattle

Its that time again!  It is always the third weekend in August.  Time for reefer madness.  Before I had my accident I was an official hempfest photographer.  I had a back stage pass, so I could go anywhere.  its nice to get close and personal with the bands.

tits and ass

Is it just me that finds this sign funny?  What is T&A supplying? Wouldn't it be funny if T&A moved south.

Eat Your Veggies!

I just got released from Harborview Hospital yesterday.  That stay was my fourth stay there.  I added up all the days I've spent in the hospital so far and it is about 60 days. I had an infection in the tissue of the pressure ulcer in my butt, again.  On Saturday I went to the Space Needle to listen to some live music.  I sat in the hot sun and felt like I was freezing my ass off.  I was feverish so I went home early to take my temperature, 101.9.  I took a long nap hoping whatever was wrong with me would go away.  103.4, my temperature went I woke up.  To bring the fever down, I drank everything that was cold in my fridge, 102.6  You know you've been to the ER too many times when all they ask you is, "Problem with your butt again?"  I got most of the same staff from previous visits, hell I'm even starting to get repeat paramedics.

I was in the loading zone at Harborview Hospital getting loaded into a cabulance ,when I saw a 650lbs man getting loaded into a ambulance.  The paramedics couldn't lift him because he weighed 650 and the bed weighed about 200.  They put metal ramps on the back to push him up.  I thought to myself wouldn't it be funny if they pulled out a boat winch!  Two second later I see a hook on a thick cable get pulled out to be hooked on the head of his bed.  OMG!  How embarrassing to be that obese!  I was starring at the spectacle of it all, he got pulled in like a boat getting loaded on a trailer!

Wilde Style

Yesterday was First Thursday in Seattle, that means all the museums are free!  We went to the Henry Art Gallery on the UW campus.  The museum had on loan a collection of Andy Warhol Polaroids.   I was hoping there be allot more of his work, but there wasn't.  There was, however, room after room of photographs.  Some photo were film and some were digital. There was also a couple of interactive exhibits on the bottom floor.  My favorite pic by far was a photo of bottles, millions of bottles.  They represented the number of bottles we generate each day.   I'm never buying bottled water again!  The picture didn't include: milk jugs, plastic coffee cups and straws or cleaning product bottles.

I was inspired to find my own art after leaving the gallery.  I'm not sure what I like better the classic car or the mural behind it.  The car and the art are near 52nd and U-Way in an alley.  The mural is in the Wilde Style of graffiti and if go around corner there is more to see.

Oh Jesus!

How does he know?  Like he's never had an impure thought or a good wank.  And what is with that guy in Norway is he a Neo-Nazi or a Christian Fundamentalist!  Almost 100 people murdered because he hates Muslims.  On his Face Book account he quoted the Uni-Bomber.  He is quoted as wanting to bring back the Crusades in Europe.  My family fought in the first Crusades we ain't doing it again.  I want to know what statement he was trying to make by killing all those people.

If people actually believed in the word of God like they say they do, the world wouldn't be like this.  I can't stand organized religion, too many nasty things happen in the name of the Lord.
